Do you have cracked or chipped teeth? Maybe you want to fill in gaps between your teeth?
Tooth bonding is a cosmetic treatment that not only renews the appearance of teeth but acts as a protection from wear and tear. The material used in tooth bonding is color-matched to teeth for a natural appearance. Treatment is painless and comfortable. But what else can tooth bonding be used for?
What does tooth bonding treat?
Tooth bonding can be used for a variety of conditions:
- Discolored teeth
- Chipped teeth
- Cracked teeth
- Cavity filling
- Filling gaps between teeth
The Tooth Bonding Process
Dr. Adjemian will assess your teeth and gums before the procedure. He will also discuss your budget and oral health goals with you.
To begin, Dr. Adjemian will take a bit of enamel to prepare the tooth for bonding. The procedure uses a biocomposite resin which is sculpted to the prepared tooth. After it is shaped to the tooth, the resin is bonded using a curing light. The process takes 30 to 60 minutes to complete. With the right oral health care, your restoration can last you for years.
